LEARNING LAB
Há diferenças entre ajudar a terminar os trabalhos de casa e ajudar a compreender o que está a aprender. É aí que está o nosso foco, pensado para crianças e jovens dos 6 aos 15 anos de idade.
Durante a semana, as nossas mesas transformam-se num espaço tranquilo dedicado aos conteúdos escolares, um lugar onde há tempo para pensar, fazer perguntas e trabalhar o que está a ser mais difícil.
MÉTODO: Reunimos duas profissionais reformadas, com uma vasta experiência de vida e uma verdadeira paixão por ensinar e partilhar conhecimento: uma com especial aptidão para a matemática e os números, e outra para as letras e a literacia. O resultado é um acompanhamento próximo, num ambiente pequeno e acolhedor, onde cada criança e jovem pode aprender ao seu próprio ritmo, colocar as suas dúvidas e encontrar a melhor forma de compreender cada conteúdo.
APOIO ONDE É PRECISO: Matemática, português, ciência, física, química, geografia, história ou apenas uma destas áreas: o trabalho adapta-se às necessidades de cada aluno e aos conteúdos que estão a ser trabalhados na escola.
Mais compreensão, menos memorização, em que o objetivo não é simplesmente chegar à resposta, mas compreender o caminho até ela. Queremos desenvolver confiança, capacidade de raciocínio e autonomia.
COMO FUNCIONA: As sessões funcionam através de uma mensalidade fixa, permitindo manter grupos estáveis e assegurar um acompanhamento consistente ao longo do tempo.
QUANDO: Com base nas pré-inscrições, serão definidos os horários, tendo também em consideração as necessidades dos alunos e das famílias. De salientar que serão constituídos grupos pequenos.
There is a difference between helping a child finish their homework and helping them understand what they are learning. That is where our focus lies, for kids between 6 and 15 years old.
On weekdays, our tables become a calm and welcoming space dedicated to the school curriculum. Here is time to think, ask questions, and work through whatever is proving difficult.
We bring together two retired professionals, both with a wealth of life experience and a genuine passion for teaching and sharing knowledge: one with a particular strength in mathematics and numbers, and the other in language and literacy.
The result is close, personal support in a small and welcoming environment, where each kid is supported at their own pace, according to their questions and the way they learn best.
We work with small groups to allow close individual attention and give each child the time they need to ask questions and work through difficulties; that’s why the spots are very limited.
SUPPORT WHERE IT’S NEEDED: Portuguese, mathematics, science, history, geography, physics and chemistry, or just one of these areas: the support adapts to each student’s needs and to what they are currently learning at school.
More Understanding, Less Memorisation: The goal is not simply to arrive at the right answer, but to understand the journey that leads to it. We want to build confidence, reasoning skills and independence.
HOW IT WORKS: Sessions are organised through a fixed monthly fee, allowing us to keep groups small and stable and provide consistent support over time.
WHEN: Flexible hours based on family availability. Following pre-registration, schedules will be created to meet student needs, always in small groups.
